According to the Security forces an alleged militant infiltration attempt in Kharan city of Balochistan was foiled successfully after carrying out a swift operation against armed assailants attempting to enter the city.
According to official, the militants had allegedly planned to spread fear among residents and disrupt law and order. However, security forces responded promptly, preventing the group from achieving its objectives.
The operation resulted in the militants being neutralised before they could carry out any attack inside the city, according to the statement. No casualties among security personnel or civilians were immediately reported.
