PML(N) Leader Khawaja Saad Rafique expresses concern over Imran Khan’s health, demands immediate steps from the government.
An official position should be issued based on the reports. Their families should be met. They should be given access to doctors as per their wishes. And all possible steps should be taken for the best treatment.
According to Khawaja Saad Rafique, these steps are not only human rights requirements but also reflect political decency and state responsibility.
PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that whether the prison is harsh or soft, the disease definitely affects the prisoner and the news of Imran Khan losing one eye and vision is disturbing. He has demanded from the government and state institutions that despite being a prisoner and a political opponent, the rights and treatment of Imran Khan should be ensured.
Khawaja Saad Rafique said in a tweet that prompt and effective treatment is the fundamental right of every human being, and even in the case of a political opponent, the protection of the rights of the patient is more important. He said in principle that Imran Khan’s family or party should not have had to go to the Supreme Court.
