PESHAWAR: Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provided timely and effective emergency services in a total of 4,230 emergencies across various districts of the province during the last week.

According to details shared by Bilal Ahmad Faizi, Spokesperson Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the emergencies included 3,417 medical emergencies, 510 road traffic accidents, 56 fire incidents, 79 crime-related incidents, 10 drowning incidents and 158 other emergencies.

Trained Rescue 1122 personnel responded promptly to all reported emergencies, providing on-site medical assistance to 4,052 injured and ill persons. Those requiring further medical care were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.

During the week, Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also provided first aid and fire safety training to hundreds of people across the province as part of its public awareness and safety initiatives.

Rescue 1122 personnel remain fully prepared to respond to emergencies and provide timely assistance to the public. Citizens are advised to immediately dial 1122 in case of any emergency.
