MUZAFARABAD: Azad Kashmir Police have arrested an individual named Irfan, who is allegedly connected to the Indian intelligence agency “RAW,” during a significant operation.

According to IG Azad Kashmir, Liaquat Ali Malik, the arrested suspect was involved in anti-national activities and was attempting to transfer sensitive information to hostile entities. Initial investigations suggest that Irfan was part of an organised network engaged in leaking information about sensitive locations to foreign agencies.

The IG emphasised that this network was not only sharing the locations of critical sites but was also involved in efforts to target innocent citizens for malicious purposes. He assured the public that the adversaries’ harmful intentions would be thwarted at all costs and that the sanctity of Azad Kashmir would be preserved.

Police stated that timely action has exposed this network, and further investigations are ongoing to bring other individuals associated with it to justice. Security agencies are intensifying their operations against anti-national activities.
