KARAK: Three police stations in Karak district were simultaneously targeted in quadcopter drone attacks late at night resulted injuring of three persons in early hours of Friday.
According to police, the attacks were carried out on Thana Gurguri, Thana Khurram, and Police Check post Bahadur Khel.In the attack on Thana Gurguri, three police officials were injured.
The injured have been identified as Constable Bilal, LHC Mulkiaz, and LHC Aamir Iqbal.In the attack on Thana Khurram, the police station building sustained partial damage.
A quadcopter drone also targeted the area of Check post Bahadur Khel. However, no casualties or damage were reported there. Police responded with heavy firing at the quadcopter drones. Further investigation into the incidents is underway.
