Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf parliamentary party meeting gave approval to file a disqualification reference against Saifullah Abro.
The meeting of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf parliamentary party was held under the chairmanship of Senator Ali Zafar. Senators Awon Abbas Bappi, Zeeshan Khanzada, Faisal Javed, Falak Naz, and Fawzia Arshad, among others, attended the meeting. According to sources, the designated opposition leader, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, was also present in the meeting. The meeting approved filing a disqualification reference against Saifullah Abro.
Sources said that during the meeting, senators criticized and expressed no confidence in the reconstitution of the PTI political committee. The members were of the view that the parliamentary leaders of the Senate and the National Assembly were not included in the new political committee, and only coordinators were given a place.
In the parliamentary party meeting, it was also decided to approach the higher judiciary for a meeting with the founder of PTI, while consultations were held on the future political strategy.
