DOHA: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Doha for his official visit, where he received a warm welcome. The Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, greeted the Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation at the airport. On this occasion, a colourful contingent of the Qatari Armed Forces paid tribute to the Prime Minister with a ceremonial salute.
Doha Airport and various areas of the city were adorned with Pakistani flags, highlighting the friendly relations between the two countries.
During his visit, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is expected to hold an important bilateral meeting with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. They will discuss issues related to Pakistan-Qatar relations, the regional situation, and the promotion of global peace.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, and the Prime Minister’s Spokesperson for International Media, Musharraf Zaidi.
