Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif has left for Egypt along with a high-level delegation, where he will attend the World Peace Summit to be held in Sharm El-Sheikh. The Prime Minister has been invited by US President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar. This important meeting to be held in Sharm El-Sheikh is being considered an important milestone in terms of establishing peace, promoting regional stability, and cooperation at the global level. According to the Foreign Office, this meeting is a continuation of the diplomatic efforts that were made during the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York last month.

As a result of these efforts, world leaders have been brought together on a common platform to find effective solutions to the peace and security challenges facing the world. It may be recalled that on September 23, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif participated in a special meeting held under the auspices of the United Nations with the heads of Arab and Islamic countries, including Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, and Turkey, where global and regional issues were discussed.

The Prime Minister’s meetings in Sharm El-Sheikh and participation in the meeting will play an important role in further strengthening Pakistan’s position and diplomatic role.
