ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation today with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and discussed the ongoing hostilities in the region.

During their warm and cordial discussion, the two leaders addressed the ongoing hostilities in the region. The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast solidarity and support for Saudi Arabia in light of recent attacks, including the assault on the Al Jubeil oil facility earlier today.

He assured His Royal Highness the Crown Prince that the people and government of Pakistan will always stand shoulder to shoulder with their Saudi brothers and sisters, just as the Saudi leadership and people have consistently supported Pakistan through difficult times.

The Prime Minister praised the wisdom and restraint shown by Saudi leadership during this crisis and emphasized that Pakistan is actively working for the success of peace efforts in collaboration with other countries. He also updated the Crown Prince on the latest developments in Pakistan’s mediation efforts to de-escalate the Middle East tensions.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister conveyed his warm wishes and respectful regards to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Crown Prince expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s peace initiatives aimed at restoring stability in the region.
