PESHAWAR: Residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will experience a hot and cloudy weather today, with temperatures expected to peak at 38°C and drop to a low of 27°C overnight, according to the latest forecast.
The day began with partly cloudy skies and a temperature of 33°C. By afternoon, conditions are expected to turn mostly sunny with maximum heat around 37°C – 38°C. Skies will clear again in the evening, staying warm at around 30°C – 31°C.
The Met office predicts similar hot conditions to continue tomorrow, Tuesday July 14, with the mercury climbing to 40°C.
Citizens are urged to stay hydrated and take precautions against heat and poor air quality.
Pleasant to cool conditions are expected across the northern areas today, with chances of patchy rain in some valleys, while plains remain hot.
Morning showers possible with 0.4mm rain and 71% cloud cover. Winds light at 1-10 km/h.
similar to Gilgit are expected: cool, partly cloudy with chances of isolated showers. Travelers on KKH advised to check road status due to possible rain.
