Pakistan metrological department predicted cloudy weather in upper parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Peshawar with partial rain today Thursday night.
The morning temperature will be 34 degrees Celsius; the feeling of heat will be 37 degrees. The temperature will rise to 40 degrees in the afternoon. The evening is expected to be 38 degrees, and the night is 33 degrees.
Clouds will begin to form later in the afternoon while rain with thundershowers is expected in Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Charsadda and surrounding areas in the evening and night. The chance of precipitation is 31 to 60 percent.
Plains Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, DI Khan will see temperatures of 38 to 41 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. The weather will be pleasant in the hilly areas of Swat, Chitral, Dir and Kalam. The high will be 18 degrees in the morning, 23 degrees in the afternoon and 14 degrees at night.
In Hazara division Abbottabad, Mansehra, Chhatar Plain in the morning cloudy and light rain is possible. Temperatures up to 30 degrees in the afternoon and thunderstorms at night. Caution:
Elderly and children should take special care due to heat and humidity. Lightning is also likely with thunderstorm in the evening.
