ISLAMABAD: The prices of petrolium products are expected to increase due to the ongoing market fluctuation amid US-Iran tension in the region.
There is a possibility of a major increase in the prices of petroleum products across the country. In the context of the ongoing tension in the Gulf region and the increasing hostility between the US and Iran, the prices of petroleum products (POL) are expected to increase by up to Rs 9.47 per liter for the next fortnight from February 1, 2026.
According to the price estimates prepared by the relevant authorities, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) may increase by up to Rs 9.47 per liter. In addition, kerosene is expected to increase by Rs 3.69 and light diesel oil (LDO) by Rs 6.95 per liter.
