ISLAMABAD: The government is likely to increase the petroleum products prices in the country for the next four weeks from February 1st.
According to sources, prices of petroleum products in the country are likely to see adjustments from February 1, market and industry sources have indicated. Sources mentioned that high-speed diesel is expected to become more expensive by Rs 9.47 per litre, while petrol is likely to decrease slightly by 36 paise per litre.
They predicted that Kerosene is expected to rise by Rs 3.69 per litre, and light diesel oil is projected to become more expensive by Rs 6.95 per litre.
The prices of petroleum products will be revised on January 31, and the Ministry of Petroleum will issue an official notification after receiving approval from the Prime Minister. Authorities stated that these adjustments reflect ongoing market conditions and are part of regular price revisions in response to fluctuating global oil prices and domestic supply and demand factors.
