ISLAMABAD: The federal government has approved an increase in the prices of petroleum products on the recommendation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), with the Petroleum Division issuing an official notification.
Under the revised rates, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs1.64 per litre, taking it from Rs363.06 to Rs364.70 per litre.
The price of petrol has also been raised by 27 paisas per litre, increasing from Rs337.51 to Rs337.78 per litre.
According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Energy’s Petroleum Division, the revised prices will take effect from August 21, 2026.
The latest adjustment comes following OGRA’s recommendation and will apply to petroleum products across the country.
