ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has officially announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products to provide relief to consumers.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the price of high-speed diesel has been slashed by Rs. 3.12 per liter, bringing its new rate down from Rs. 422.08 to Rs. 418.96 per liter.
Similarly, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs. 1.70 per liter, lowering it from Rs. 393.75 to a new rate of Rs. 392.05 per liter. Officials stated that these downward revisions were made in response to shifting price trends in the global market.
