After the decision to fix the prices of petroleum products on a daily basis, petrol has become expensive by Rs 20.81 and diesel by Rs 55.36 per liter in a week.
The Petroleum Division increased petrol prices by Rs 5.44 per litre and diesel by Rs 31.5 per litre from July 18.
After this, petrol and diesel prices were determined on July 21, in which petrol became cheaper by 35 paise while diesel became more expensive by Rs 5.71 per litre.
Petrol prices were increased by Rs 4.93 per litre and diesel by Rs 7.15 per litre for July 22, while petrol prices were increased by Rs 6.39 per litre and diesel prices were increased by Rs 7.83 per litre for July 23.
Yesterday, on July 24, petrol and diesel prices were also increased, petrol prices were increased by Rs 4.40 per litre and diesel prices by Rs 3.62 per litre.
It should be noted that on July 17, the cabinet decided that OGRA will decide on petroleum products on a daily basis, OGRA will determine prices on a daily basis by keeping in mind the global market.
After the price increase yesterday, the new price of petrol has become Rs 335.18 per liter, while the new price of diesel has become Rs 383.46 per liter.
