PESHAWAR: Students at the University of Peshawar continued their sit-in protest for the second day running against the newly imposed increase in tuition and hostel fees.
According to details, dozens of students participated in sit-in protests near the Provost Office, raising slogans and calling for the fee increase to be rolled back immediately.
During the protests, the students said that the fee hike was unfair and excessive, particularly for low-income students. They threatened to continue their protest indefinitely until they were accepted.
As a result of the expanding protest, a large police force was stationed on the university campus to keep things in control.
