PESHAWAR: The federal government has decided to take strict action against line losses and non-payment of electricity bills.

In the first phase, action will be taken on high-loss feeders, and plane has been formulated to take action to reduce line losses and load shedding, PESCO officials said.
In the first phase, action will be taken in Hashtnagri, Sethi Town, Sikandarpura, Chamkani and Landi Arbab. Line losses have reached 70 and 80 percent in several areas of Peshawar, PESCO sources said.
