The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to sell the Multan Sultans team immediately. This decision comes in light of the growing interest from investors in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
During the recent auctions for Hyderabad and Sialkot, the PCB identified potential investors for Multan Sultans as well.
The auction for Multan Sultans is scheduled to take place before this season, rather than next year. The PCB will soon release an advertisement regarding the auction.
By selling Multan Sultans promptly, the PCB aims to strengthen its financial position.
Qualified bidders will have the opportunity to purchase the team during the auction, which will follow the same process used for the Sialkot and Hyderabad team sales.
It is worth noting that following Ali Tareen’s departure from the Multan Sultans, the PCB had announced that it would manage the team.
