LAHORE: Pakistan men’s cricket team’s T20 squad has reached Colombo to prepare for the ICC T20 World Cup.

T20 squad has four players; Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Wasim Junior, and Salman Mirza. Also in Colombo are Mike Hesson, the head coach, Ashley Noffke, the bowling coach, the fielding coach, and other members of the support staff.

According to sources, the rest of the players and the support staff will take a flight from Lahore later today. With the arrival of all the members, the entire team will share the discussions concerning their training sessions and the finalization of their plans for the tournament.

The ICC T20 World Cup is set to kick off on February 7 and will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Pakistan will play all its matches in Sri Lanka.

On the other hand, Bangladesh Cricket Board has declared that their team will not travel to India for the event. The board stated that it had communicated its decision to the International Cricket Council and was awaiting further instructions.

The officials and the fans of cricket are keeping a close eye on the situation as teams are getting ready and the last arrangements for the World Cup are still in progress.
