ISLAMABAD: Pakistani application developers crossed a major milestone of successfully launching 1,053 mobile applications in 2024.
Pakistan’s emergence as an emerging mobile application developer hub in the region is a great achievement for the IT sector. Thanks to the conducive environment of SIFC, significant progress has been made in Pakistan’s IT sector. The global demand for Pakistani mobile applications on ‘Android’ and ‘iOS’ platforms has increased, which is a testament to the global acceptance of Pakistani application developers.
In the year 2024, 764 Android and 289 iOS applications were launched by Pakistani developers. Pakistan has achieved a new global position in the IT sector, leaving behind countries like the Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, and Egypt.
The global popularity of Pakistani mobile applications has restored the confidence of foreign investors, and SIFC policies are playing a key role in accelerating investment and growth in Pakistan’s IT sector.
