ISLAMABAD: Private Pakistani carrier Air Indus is set to resume flight operations after the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) restored its operating licence, paving the way for the airline’s return to the country’s aviation sector.
Following the restoration of its licence, the airline has decided to restart its services in the near future, according to official sources.
Air Indus plans to operate its services using Airbus A320 aircraft as it resumes commercial operations.
The airline’s licence had been revoked by the Civil Aviation Authority several years ago over violations of aviation regulations, forcing it to suspend its flight operations.
With the licence now reinstated, Air Indus is preparing to relaunch its services, although the airline has yet to announce a timeline for the resumption of scheduled flights.
