DOHA: Pakistan delivered a stellar performance in the Rising Stars Asia Cup, defeating India A by 8 wickets. The Pakistan Shaheens comfortably chased down the target of 137 runs in the 14th over.
Moaz Sadaqat was the standout performer for Pakistan, scoring 79 runs with an impressive display of fast and responsible batting, leading the team to a convincing victory.
India A, batting first, managed to score only 136 runs before being bowled out. The Pakistani bowlers excelled, with Shahid Aziz claiming 3 wickets, while both Saad Masood and Moaz Sadaqat took 2 wickets each.
Chairman PCB Mohsin Vaqvi congratulated both teams for their dominant and consecutive wins against India and Sri Lanka.

The Pakistan cricket team achieved a dominant victory over Sri Lanka in the One Day International (ODI) series, winning all three matches. In the third and final ODI, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets, successfully chasing down a target of 212 runs with a total loss of just 6 wickets.
Opener Fakhar Zaman played a pivotal role, scoring an impressive 55 runs. Babar Azam contributed with 34 runs, while Mohammad Rizwan also made a significant impact with a brilliant half-century. Salman Ali Agha remained at the crease, leading the team toward victory. However, Haseebullah Khan was dismissed without scoring a run after facing 12 balls.
In the first match of the series, Pakistan narrowly defeated Sri Lanka by just 6 runs in an exciting contest. The second match saw Pakistan claiming victory again, this time by 8 wickets, successfully chasing down a target of 289 runs in 49 overs with only 2 wickets lost. Babar Azam’s unbeaten century and Mohammad Rizwan’s 51 runs were key contributions to the team’s success in that match.
