ISLAMABAD: Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL) has issued another tender for the procurement of a spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo, seeking bids from international suppliers.
According to PLL, bids must be submitted by tomorrow and will be opened on the same day. The tender is for LNG deliveries scheduled between July 21 and 22.
PLL said Pakistan has already secured three LNG cargoes for July. The cargo for delivery on July 15–16 was purchased at $18.23 per MMBtu, while the cargo for July 10–11 delivery was acquired at $17.37 per MMBtu.
Earlier, Pakistan purchased another LNG cargo for delivery between June 30 and July 4 at a price of $16.73 per MMBtu.
The latest tender is part of the country’s ongoing efforts to ensure adequate LNG supplies to meet domestic energy demand.
