Salman Ali Agha remained at the crease, leading the team toward victory. However, Haseebullah Khan was dismissed without scoring a run after facing 12 balls.
In the first match of the series, Pakistan narrowly defeated Sri Lanka by just 6 runs in an exciting contest. The second match saw Pakistan claiming victory again, this time by 8 wickets, successfully chasing down a target of 289 runs in 49 overs with only 2 wickets lost. Babar Azam’s unbeaten century and Mohammad Rizwan’s 51 runs were key contributions to the team’s success in that match.
