Indus Motor Company (IMC) has announced a significant price cut for its popular SUV, the Toyota Fortuner, to celebrate its 35th anniversary in Pakistan.

According to the report released on January 19, 2026, the prices of the petrol variants (G and V) of the Fortuner have been slashed by over Rs 2.5 million, which is being termed as a historic move in the auto market. The two main petrol variants of the Toyota Fortuner will now be available at the following new prices:

Fortuner G (4×2 Petrol): The price of this variant has been reduced from Rs 14,939,000 to Rs 12,435,000. This will save buyers Rs 2,504,000.

Fortuner V (4×4 Petrol): The price of this variant has been reduced from Rs 17,509,000 to Rs 14,935,000. This represents a total discount of Rs 2,574,000 for buyers.

The company has attributed the reduction to its “35th anniversary” celebrations, however, market experts say that there are a few other factors behind it. The government’s recent tax cuts on vehicles with certain engine capacities have been passed on to consumers.

Toyota has set these aggressive prices to boost sales of its petrol Fortuner, driven by the rising popularity of new hybrid vehicles and Chinese crossovers. This discount is for a specific period and limited stock, so that Indus Motors can sell its existing units quickly.

It should be noted that this price cut is only for the petrol variants (G and V), while the prices of the diesel variants of the Fortuner (Sigma 4 and Legend) are likely to remain unchanged. According to Indus Motors, this is a “limited period offer”, so this is a great opportunity for those who are planning to buy the Fortuner.
