ORAKZAI: Security forces are continuing their round-the-clock relief and rescue operations in the Orakzai district during heavy rains and snowfall.

In response to the severe snowfall, the security forces opened roads on an emergency basis to assist local residents and facilitate timely burials. They completed a special relief operation aimed at supporting the community during the adverse weather conditions in remote areas of Orakzai.

Recently, all roads leading to the village of Kalaya Darbar were completely closed, halting transportation and preventing a bereaved family from conducting the burial of their loved one. Upon receiving information about the road closures, the security forces quickly mobilised heavy machinery and personnel.

Despite the harsh weather conditions, the security personnel worked day and night tirelessly to clear the snow and restore access to the roads. Thanks to their efforts, the funeral prayer and burial of the local citizen were able to take place in a timely and dignified manner.

Local elders and community members expressed their gratitude for this compassionate and timely action taken by the Pakistan Army. The military remains committed to standing by its people during difficult times and is dedicated to promoting peace, social welfare, and the well-being of citizens.
