Former wicket-keeper Rashid Latif share his opinion about Babar Azam’s selection to the team first appeared through his commentary on the subject.
He questioned the selection of Babar Azam in the team with a low strike rate, saying, “The team management had said that his strike rate would improve before selecting him again, but where is the improvement?”
Latif added that when a batter scores only 20–25 runs from 20 balls, it forces the next batsman to take high-risk shots, potentially impacting the team’s performance.
