PESHAWAR: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has established 43 citizen facilitation centres across 11 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to improve public access to government services.
According to an official document, the initiative has been launched under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Citizen-Centred Service Delivery Project, which aims to make public services more accessible, efficient and convenient for citizens across the province.
The project falls under the social policy sector and seeks to reduce the difficulties people face in accessing government services while strengthening a citizen-focused service delivery system.
The document states that 72% of the project’s work has been completed, with December 31, 2026, set as the scheduled completion date.
The World Bank has provided $46 million in financial assistance for the project to improve service delivery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and expand facilities in line with public needs.
Officials said the establishment of citizen facilitation centres would help streamline access to various government services through a more organised and citizen-friendly system. The centres are also expected to benefit residents of remote areas by making essential public services easier to access.
Upon completion, the project is expected to strengthen coordination between citizens and government institutions and improve the overall quality of public service delivery across the province.
