Rescue teams from Lower Dir and Upper Dir recovered the body of a tourist who drowned at Kala Chashma, a popular tourist site in Kumrat Valley, after a continuous search operation lasting three days.

According to rescue officials, water rescue teams were dispatched immediately upon receiving reports of the incident. Despite facing strong river currents, deep waters, and challenging operating conditions, expert divers persevered and used specialized rescue techniques during the search.

On the third day of the joint operation, rescuers successfully retrieved the body of the missing tourist from the river. The body was subsequently handed over to the local police to complete the necessary legal formalities.

The deceased was identified as Zain, a resident of Mardan.

In the wake of this recovery, Rescue 1122 urged tourists to exercise extreme caution near rivers and other deep-water locations. They emphasized the importance of following safety guidelines and advised against swimming or entering hazardous areas to help prevent similar tragedies.
