A surprising miracle of nature was witnessed in Rustam area of ​​Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa when a missing worker was recovered alive from the rubble 16 days after a landslide in a marble mine.

According to rescue officials, this tragic incident occurred on March 31 as a result of explosion in a marble mine, which caused a large-scale landslide and buried several workers under the rubble. After this accident, a large-scale rescue operation was launched by Rescue 1122, which has been going on for several days.

A total of 11 workers have been pulled out of the rubble so far in this accident, out of which 9 workers died while 2 were shifted to Peshawar in serious condition. Abdul Wahab, who hails from Mohmand district, had been missing since the accident, and rescue teams were continuously working to find him.

When rescue personnel pulled Abdul Wahab out of the rubble during the operation today, people present there called it a miracle of nature. After living in the shadow of death for 16 days, Abdul Wahab’s family has been overwhelmed with joy at his return to life, and the public is also praising the tireless efforts of the rescue team.
