Dubai’s new Gold District has officially been inaugurated, marking the development of the world’s first gold street. The Dubai government has announced plans to launch this unique initiative soon, positioning the Gold District as a new tourist destination.
The government revealed that designs and plans for the district will be unveiled in phases. It aims to establish a centre featuring over 1,000 gold retailers. This initiative will bring together retail, wholesale, and investment in a single location, creating a comprehensive hub for the entire gold and jewelry value chain.
Emirati officials emphasise that gold represents Dubai’s glory and commercial heritage.

A newly launched luxury tower in Dubai bearing the name of Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan has been completely sold out on its inaugural day.
The Shah Rukh Khan Tower, worth 2.1 billion dirhams, 159.6 billion Pakistani rupees is currently under construction, on Dubai’s lively Sheikh Zayed Road, one of the city’s leading business avenues.
The major inauguration ceremony occurred at Dubai Expo City with over 6,000 attendees present among them Shah Rukh Khan himself.
On the occasion Shahrukh Khan said that the tower will have first-class amenities a design and it will be very flashy business icon, Sheikh Zayed Road Dubai.
