MARDAN: Mardan Medical Complex has released its performance report for Eid-ul-Azha holidays, showing 12,253 patients received medical care between 26-30 May 2026.
According to MTI Mardan Medical Complex officials, the Emergency Department and all other wards remained fully operational during the holidays with complete medical staff on duty.
A total of 12,253 emergency patients visited the hospital. Major cases included Traffic accidents: 479 patients with minor and serious injuries Gunshot wounds, 14 cases of Diarrhea, 543 cases Dog bites, 373 cases Overall, 1,111 cases were recorded in these categories during 26-30 May.
Besides, this 923 patients were admitted for further treatment and diagnosis. Of these, 526 were admitted under Sehat Card Plus and 397 under the general category.
The hospital conducted 10,233 laboratory tests and 3,165 radiology studies, including 314 CT scans, 1,556 X-rays, and 1,295 ultrasounds. Doctors also performed 244 major surgeries and 81 minor procedures.
55 newborn deliveries were recorded at the facility during the 5-day period. Hospital administration said the figures reflect MMC’s commitment to providing uninterrupted healthcare services to the public even during holidays.
