The government of Pakistan has decided to gift high-quality Pakistani mangoes to heads of state, high-ranking government officials, diplomats, and important international personalities of 76 countries around the world under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s special ‘Mango Diplomacy’ campaign.

According to the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), under this special diplomatic campaign, more than 34 tons of high-quality Pakistani mangoes will be sent to different countries of the world in 6,896 special packing boxes of 5 kilograms.

According to officials, this time the largest consignment is being sent to Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Britain, and China, while other important friends and partner countries are also included in this list. The mangoes are being packed and shipped in accordance with international standards to maintain their freshness and quality until they reach their destination.

TDAP says that the aim of this initiative is not only to present Pakistani mangoes as gifts but also to promote Pakistan’s high-quality agricultural and horticultural products globally. Pakistani mangoes are famous worldwide for their unique aroma, taste, and high quality, and this campaign will help them gain further acceptance in the global market.

According to officials, “mango diplomacy” is an important part of Pakistan’s soft diplomacy, through which efforts are made to further strengthen goodwill, mutual trust, and friendly relations with friendly countries.

Experts say that such diplomatic campaigns not only highlight the positive image of Pakistan but also play an important role in increasing the country’s agricultural exports, accessing new markets, and increasing global demand for Pakistani mangoes.
