PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has ordered the immediate transfer of 12 officers and officials from various provincial government departments to the Governor House, in a major administrative reshuffle amid speculation surrounding the possible imposition of governor’s rule in the province.
The Human Resource Management Department (HRMD) issued the notification, approved by the Secretary HRM and signed by Section Officer (S-IV) Haris Naseer. According to the notification, No. SOS.IV(HRMD)1-14(Gen)2026, the transfers and postings have been made in the broader public interest and will take effect immediately.
Twelve Officials Transferred to Governor House
The officials transferred to the Governor House include:
Muhammad Tayyab, Private Secretary (BS-17), formerly posted at the Office of the Minister for Minerals and Development.
Fahad Ahmed, Private Secretary (BS-17), formerly serving in the Minerals and Development Department.
Arshad Ali, Personal Assistant (BS-16), formerly posted in the Communications and Works (C&W) Department.
Najeebullah, Personal Assistant (BS-16), formerly serving in the Administration Department.
Muhammad Sohail, Personal Assistant (BS-16), formerly posted in the Health Department.
Abrar Ahmed, Personal Assistant (BS-16), also formerly serving in the Health Department.
Abdul Wahab, Assistant (BS-16), formerly posted at the Office of the Chief Minister’s Adviser on Agriculture.
Hazrat Usman, Stenographer (BS-14), formerly serving in the Livestock Department.
Muhammad Tariq, Stenographer (BS-14), formerly posted in the Health Department.
Jamal Ahmed, Senior Clerk (BS-14), formerly serving at the Office of the Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation and Settlement.
Shamshad Khan, Senior Clerk (BS-14), formerly posted at the Office of the Chief Minister’s Adviser on Sports and Youth Affairs.
Tayyab Jahangir, Junior Clerk (BS-11), formerly serving at the Office of the Chief Minister’s Special Assistant for the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA).
Copies of the notification have been forwarded to the Accountant General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, relevant officials at the Governor House and the concerned departments for necessary action.
