ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) pavilion has won the best pavilion title for the fourth time in a row as Lok Mela concluded in Islamabad on Sunday with colourful events.

The annual Lok Mela was organised by the Lok Virsa in collaboration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan tourism and culture departments in Islamabad.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority has made the province proud by winning the award for the best pavilion in Pakistan.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pavilion won this award for the fourth consecutive year.

During the festival, millions of people visited the Pakhtunkhwa Pavilion and witnessed the unique and diverse cultures of the province.
According to the deputy director of Media, KP, Saad, every effort was made to highlight the culture of Pakhtunkhwa so that its beauty and colour could be shown across the country.
For the first time, the China Cultural Centre in Pakistan was invited to participate in the festival, which inaugurated the 2025 China Culture and Tourism Week.
Through diverse and fascinating cultural exhibitions, the event brought new life to the China-Pakistan cultural exchange and mutual learning between civilisations.
This year’s Lok Virsa Mela has come to an end, with an estimated attendance of over 100,000 people.
It was one of the largest cultural events to be held in Islamabad in 2025. Apart from China, the embassies of Uzbekistan and Vietnam in Pakistan also participated enthusiastically in the festival, making the Lok Virsa Mela a vivid demonstration of mutual learning and cultural exchange between civilisations.
