PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Wednesday posted and transferred several senior officers of different cadres.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa establishment division issued a formal notification in this regard.
The notification states that the services of Additional Deputy Commissioner Torghar Grade 18 Adeel Ahmed Sattar have been handed over to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Monitoring Authority.
Similarly, Grade 20 officer Talha Hussain Faisal, who has been awaiting posting, was posted as a Special Secretary for Climate Change, while the current Special Secretary for Climate Change, Grade 20 Habibullah, has been directed to report to the Establishment Department.
Also, Grade 20 officer Muhammad Asghar Khan has been posted as a Member Governor’s Inspection Team.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police on Wednesday transferred and posted several senior police officers across the province after the prevailing chief minister, Sohail Afridi, took charge as the chief executive of the KP.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has undergone a significant reorganisation, with nine senior officers receiving new postings. This change follows a notification issued by IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, Zulfiqar Hameed.
District Police Officers, traffic police officers, CTD officers, and other senior officials have been reassigned to various districts.
Notably, Umar Tufail, the District Police Officer of Abbottabad, has been appointed as the SSP of the PCTF. In addition, he will also take on the responsibilities of DIG for CTF and EU CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Haroon Rashid Khan has been designated as the new District Police Officer for Abbottabad, while Zahidullah has been appointed as the Chief Traffic Officer for Peshawar, after previously serving as the head of District Police in Kohat.
Masood Ahmed, the SSP Operations in Peshawar, has been transferred to become the District Police Officer of Mardan. Shahbaz Elahi has moved to Kohat, and Saud has been assigned as the District Police Chief of Karak.
Muhammad Azhar will now serve as the District Police Officer for Mansehra, and Shafiullah has been transferred as Close CPO Peshawar. Additionally, SP City CCP Peshawar, Atiq Shah, has been moved to become the District Police Officer of Buner.
These transfers have taken place following the swearing-in of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi.
