KP Govt Orders Key Transfers of Senior Officers

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Department has ordered the transfer and posting of two senior officers of the Local Council Board (LCB) with immediate effect.

According to an official notification issued by the competent authority, the Secretary, Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Department and Chairman Local Council Board, the transfers have been made in the best public interest.

Under the notification, Waheed Ur Rehman, a BPS-19 officer serving as Secretary of the Local Council Board, has been directed to report to the board.

Meanwhile, Khizer Hayat Khan, also a BPS-19 officer who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Local Council Board.

The orders have come into effect immediately.

The notification was issued under the authority of the Chairman, Local Council Board, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as part of the department’s administrative posting and transfer process.
