In total, the 32 development projects are valued at over Rs 52 billion, which includes Rs 17 billion earmarked for the 18 road sector schemes and revised plans for the six model schools. Following the special instructions of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, several important projects have been approved to enhance access to quality education in the region. The establishment of a degree college for boys in Mansehra is expected to boost access to higher education. Additionally, two new government primary schools have been approved for Yarakhel Marghaz in Swabi, and the six model schools will be set up in Karak, Haripur, Charsadda, Hangu, Bilgram, and Bannu. Officials have been directed to make these schools operational as soon as possible so that students can benefit promptly.

Moreover, the 14th PDWP meeting approved the 18 schemes, which encompass a total expenditure of Rs 17 billion, including eight feasibility studies. These projects are set to transform road infrastructure across the province, improve access to remote areas, enhance travel safety, and promote economic prosperity. Under Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s direction, the significant 26.6 km road project from Kili to Hakla has also received approval, with an estimated cost of Rs 6,163 million.
