SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: On the directives of KP Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah, the District Steering Committee on Education suspended 119 teachers in South Waziristan Upper over absenteeism.
During a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ismatullah Wazir, the District Education Officer (Male) suspended 100 male teachers, while the District Education Officer (Female) suspended 19 female teachers.
DC Wazir said negligence in teaching duties would not be tolerated, stressing that strict action was vital for ensuring students’ future. Further departmental proceedings against the suspended staff are also under consideration.
