Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Syed Fakhar Jahan, congratulates the newly elected office bearers of the District Press Club Buner.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Syed Fakhar Jahan, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected office bearers of District Press Club Buner. In his congratulatory message, he expressed his best wishes to all the members of the cabinet and governing body, including the newly elected President Mukhtar Alam Khan, General Secretary Saeed Rashid, Vice President Shabbir Ahmed, and Finance Secretary Muhammad Rehman.

The provincial minister said that journalism is one of the fundamental pillars of a democratic society. Professional and responsible journalism not only highlights public issues but also establishes an effective connection between the government, government institutions, and society.

On this occasion, he appreciated the services of Buner journalists and said that despite difficult circumstances, challenges, and limited resources, journalists of the Buner district have always fulfilled the sacred duty of guiding the people, raising awareness, and social reform with full responsibility.

Syed Fakhar Jahan expressed hope that the newly elected office bearers of District Press Club Buner will continue their positive and active role in promoting journalistic values, principledness, and transparency.

He said that the newly elected cabinet will take practical steps for the welfare of the local journalist community, capacity building, and public reform, while also playing a constructive role in keeping the public informed about government initiatives, reform agenda, and development projects.

The provincial minister assured the journalist community of Buner and the newly elected office bearers of his full support and expressed his determination that the government will continue serious efforts to promote responsible journalism and resolve the problems of journalists.
