PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly session has been summoned for August 6, according to an official notification issued by the Assembly Secretariat.
According to the notification issued by the Secretariat, it has been sent to the provincial cabinet, MPAs, and other concerned officials for timely participation in the session.
The notification follows the postponement of the assembly session to August 10. However, the session was rescheduled four days before, and now it will begin on August 6.
The lawmakers are likely to debate the prevailing situation in the province and may propose some amendments to the local government law.
