PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Council Board has approved the promotion of 10 officers of the Local Council Service, Provincial Unified Group Fund (LCS-PUGF), Administrative Cadre, from BS-16 to BS-17 on an acting charge basis, according to an official notification issued on Wednesday.
The notification said the promotions were approved in the meeting of the Local Council Board held on January 8, 2026, and will take effect immediately.
The officers promoted include Haris Azhar, TOR, TMA Landi Kotal; Muhammad Waqas, TOR, TMA Mathra; Misbah-ud-Din, TOR, TMA Khwazakhela; Muhammad Mujtaba, TMO, TMA Kalkot; Rahman Sher, TMO, TMA Takht Bhai; Qaisar Khan, TMO, TMA Sadda; Arbab Muhammad Shehzad, TO (R), TMA Pishtakhara; Intikhab Alam, TMO, TMA Central Kurram; Anfullah, ATO (R), TMA Lakki Marwat; and Asadullah Ghalib, TMO, TMA Dassu.
According to the notification, all promoted officers will remain on probation for a period of one year. It further stated that separate adjustment orders regarding their postings will be issued in due course.
The promotions aim to address administrative requirements within the local government setup and ensure continuity in municipal service delivery across the province.
