PESHAWAR: A delegation from Karachi called on Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi.
The delegation included Attaullah Advocate, Saif-ur-Rehman, Saeed Afridi, Ilyas Khalil and others. During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held regarding the Chief Minister’s visit to Karachi and Sindh. Special Assistant Shafi Jan and former Special Assistant Shafqat Ayaz were also present in the meeting.
The Chief Minister, while welcoming the delegation, gave a briefing regarding the Karachi visit, while the delegation informed about the arrangements for the visit, public relations and organizational activities. The meeting discussed in detail the overall political situation of the country, the public relations campaign as per the instructions of the founding chairman Imran Khan, political awareness and various aspects of the constitutional and democratic struggle.
The Chief Minister expressed his determination that the political struggle for the release of Imran Khan and achieving true freedom will be continued in a constitutional, peaceful and organized manner and contact with the public will be further strengthened so that the public voice can be heard effectively at every forum.
It should be noted that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will visit Karachi on January 9 in connection with the public relations campaign and street movement for the release of the founder of PTI. He will stay in Karachi for three days. PTI leaders and provincial ministers will also go with him under the leadership of the Chief Minister. Earlier, he had visited Lahore from December 26 to 28, in which the Chief Minister.
