Pakistan Aviation Authority has decided to build a 26-storey building on the name of Pakistan Aviation Complex in Blue area.

The public hearing on the proposed aviation complex project in Blue Area, Islamabad, has been completed. The public hearing was held under the Pakistan Environmental Protection Act 1997, in which a detailed briefing was given on the environmental impacts and technical aspects of the project. The National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) briefed the participants about the design and environmental planning of the project.

The questions of the participants were answered satisfactorily during the hearing, while it was decided to make the suggestions given by the public and stakeholders part of the final environmental impact report.

According to PAA, the Aviation Complex project is an important milestone, under which a 26-storey modern building will be constructed in the Blue Area. The project will bring PAA offices and air services under one roof. The authority says the project will provide a modern and future-friendly structure in accordance with the principles of efficient use of energy and sustainable infrastructure.
