ISLAMABAD: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Captain (R) Hamza Humayun said that 500% increase has been recorded in obtaining licenses from the Islamabad Traffic Police.

Citizens have visited traffic offices and service centres in large numbers to obtain driving licenses and learner permits. Hamza Humayun said that citizens have expressed full trust in Islamabad Police, and we are deeply grateful to our citizens for this trust. He said that the deadline for obtaining licenses has been set for October 07, 2025.

The CTO further said that citizens have been provided with the facility to obtain a learner permit from home, and through the ‘e-learner app’, citizens can get a permit made from their mobile phones. Along with this, the facility of a learner permit is also available in all service centres, including Faizabad Head Office, F-6, and 13 police stations.

According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Traffic Police, the service vans of the Traffic Police are also going to different areas to provide the facility of issuing licenses, so that maximum convenience can be provided to the citizens. Hamza Humayun said that citizens should get their licenses as soon as possible and prove that they are civilized citizens. Islamabad Traffic Police is striving to provide the best facilities to the citizens.
