ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam has expressed his profound gratitude to the government, military and people of Pakistan following the successful conclusion of the Iranian delegation’s visit. The visit, led by Iran’s Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Syyed Abbas Araghchi, was part of a regional diplomatic tour aimed at reviewing bilateral relations and consulting on key regional developments.

In a tweet shared at the end of the visit, Ambassador Moghadam acknowledged the efforts of Pakistan’s leadership, particularly Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, for their tireless work toward peace and stability in the region. He emphasized the collaborative effort in promoting dialogue and peace, which remains at the heart of the diplomatic exchanges between the two countries.

“I extend my wholehearted gratitude to the government, army, and people of Pakistan, especially Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif & Field Marshal Asim Munir for their ongoing efforts to end the war and bring lasting peace to the region,” Moghadam said in his tweet.

The Ambassador also praised the excellent security arrangements that allowed the delegation’s visit to take place in complete safety and tranquillity. “Like the previous round, this visit was carried out under full security, thanks to the meticulous planning and execution by the Pakistani government,” he remarked, highlighting the professional management of the entire process.

Moghadam further expressed his appreciation for the cooperation and hospitality extended by Pakistan’s army, security forces, police, and various executive institutions, as well as the warm reception from the people of Islamabad.

Concluding his message with a strong statement of unity and friendship, the Ambassador declared, “Iran-Pakistan Friendship Zindabad!”
