RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), Hilal-e-Jurat, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, delivered a historic speech at the first commemoration ceremony of the Marka-e-Haq.
Field Marshal Asim Munir, on the First anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, said that by the grace of Allah, Pakistan, its people, and its armed forces achieved unprecedented success in the Battle of Haq, Operation Banyun-al-Marsoos. The Battle of Haq was a decisive confrontation between two ideologies, where truth emerged victorious, and falsehood was defeated.
Field Marshal Munir stated that India’s ambition to alter the regional balance of power by targeting Pakistan with military aggression and diplomatic isolation is beyond its capacity, and Pakistan will not allow this dream to succeed.
He paid tribute to all the martyrs and veterans of the Marka-e-Haq, especially the innocent women, the elderly, and children who lost their lives, on behalf of the entire nation and the armed forces of Pakistan. He emphasized that they attribute their martyrs’ sacrifices to trust, their strength to responsibility, and their success to God Almighty.
The message from the people and national leadership is clear: there can be no compromise on the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national dignity. Field Marshal Munir noted that India has suffered significant casualties and financial losses as a result of this war, a price it will continue to pay for years to come.
He highlighted that Fath missiles and the Pakistan Air Force’s Shaheens successfully struck more than 26 enemy military targets. Praise be to Allah! Today, Pakistan’s defense is completely invulnerable to any external aggression, he declared.
He warned the enemy: The repercussions of any upcoming campaign against Pakistan will not only be severe but also far-reaching and painful. Field Marshal Munir stated that present and future wars will consist of multi-domain operations, utilizing long-range weapons, drones, cyber capabilities, and artificial intelligence.
A Defense Forces Headquarters has been established to align Pakistan’s military with modern requirements. He also noted that Pakistan’s strategic mutual defense agreement with the brotherly Islamic country of Saudi Arabia is a significant milestone in their diplomatic achievements.
Pakistan is currently hosting historic peace talks through effective, responsible, and impartial diplomacy, according to Field Marshal Munir. He stated that considering a conventional war with Pakistan impossible, India has resorted once again to the heinous method of terrorism. He urged Afghanistan to eliminate the centers and sanctuaries of terrorism on its soil.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir commended the brave people of Pakistan, especially those in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, as well as the courageous personnel of the Pakistani Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies.
We will avenge the blood of every innocent Pakistani, and this war against terrorism will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated, he vowed. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to provide political, diplomatic, and moral support to the Kashmiri people on every front.
Our destination is the dream our ancestors envisioned, he stated. He also mentioned that the green crescent flag of Pakistan symbolizes hope, with its armed forces organized and prepared at all times.
The Pakistani nation is our strength, and we are the strength of the nation, Field Marshal Munir asserted. He concluded by stating that the future of Pakistan, God willing, is very bright and radiant. When truth and falsehood confront, victory is always the destiny of truth, he remarked, adding that Pakistan was invincible yesterday and, with God’s grace, will remain invincible in the times to come.
