ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, will be transferred to a new prison in Islamabad as he was sentenced by the Islamabad court, and clarified that there is no plan to move him to Banigala.

The interior minister, Mr Naqvi, while clarifying the PTI’s founder’s shift, said that a new jail is being constructed in the federal capital, Islamabad.

He stated that if the PTI founder is sentenced by an Islamabad court, he will be transferred to this facility. Mohsin Naqvi added that the new jail will be equipped with all necessary medical facilities to ensure proper care of all its inmates.
