LAHORE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has made an important decision to address Pakistan’s refusal to play a match against India.

According to sources, the ICC delegation, which includes Deputy Chairman Imran Khawaja, is preparing to visit Pakistan following a similar visit by the President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board.

The ICC delegation is set to arrive in Lahore to hold discussions with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). A significant meeting is scheduled between the ICC and PCB delegations today, where detailed discussions regarding the Pakistan-India match will take place.

A significant breakthrough is anticipated in the coming hours concerning the Pakistan-India match in the T20 World Cup. Additionally, Bangladesh Cricket Board Chairman Aminul Islam has arrived in Pakistan to attend an emergency meeting of the ICC, and the ICC mediation team is also expected to reach Pakistan shortly.

The ICC delegation aims to persuade Pakistan to participate in the match on February 15.
